Was traveling west on Rt4, just coming out of woodstock VT at 9:01pm, (checked time because I texted someone within a minute of this siting)Something caught my eye, about 3/4 up from line of site through windsheid. A white glowing orb apprx 20-30ft in diameter, estimated about 800ft in alltitude over a hilly area,traveling west by northwest at est, 300knots. For a split second I thought it was a meteor but there was no trail behind it. No landing lights, no visible exit source for thrust (turbine), just a big glowing ball that went just about above me then traveled in a straightline til a mountain hide it's view.
