Recieved a text message from my 11 year old son around 7:15pm saying he sees a 'meteor' in the sky above his house. He lives in Westerville with his father, about twenty mins se of my home in columbus. Currious, i went outside to look. Sure enough i see a very bright, rapidly blinking light hovering in the se sky. It was pulsing in what looked like red,green, and white lights. This was much brighter than the stars surrounding it, and i could tell by the roof tops below that the object WAS moving in a ne direction, but so slowly it was hard to notice. I observed this object until almost 8pm, as it slowly got closer to my location. Had it been a plane.or helicopter it surely would have passed by in that amout of time. As 8pm aproached a heavy cloud bank rolled in. I snapped a few pictures with my cell phone before returning to the house. Apon checking out the pictures and zooming in, i realised this was most likely a UFO. Checked various ufo sites as well as the local news and nothing else has been reported yet.
